My Cooking Style
I don’t just cook barbecue; I tell the story of Hawaiʻi and Polynesia through food.
Growing up in Hawaiʻi shaped the way I see cooking. The islands are a melting pot of cultures, and those influences can be found in every dish I create. By combining authentic island flavors with traditional American barbecue and live-fire cooking, I’ve built a style that’s uniquely my own.
Every recipe is rooted in respect for tradition while embracing creativity. Whether it’s a classic Hawaiian favorite, a Polynesian-inspired creation, or an original fusion dish, my goal is simple: introduce more people to the food, culture, and stories that made me who I am.
Great food doesn’t just fill a plate; it starts conversations, creates memories, and brings people together.
