This teriyaki beef is quick, easy, packed with flavor and you can get all the ingredients from Costco! I used the thinly sliced New York steak from Costco, Mr. Yoshida’s Original Gourmet Sauce, and jarlic. That’s it! But I also have a teriyaki beef marinade that’s jam packed with flavors if you are not on a time crunch!
Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner, meal prep, or when you’re craving a classic plate lunch at home. Serve it with hot rice and mac salad, and you’re set! 🤙🏽
Ingredients
- Easy Recipe:
- 2 –3 pounds thinly sliced New York steak from @costco@costcodeals
- ½ bottle Uncle @mryoshidas
- 1/2 cup jarlic
- Teriyaki beef recipe:
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp grated ginger
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Thai chili minced optional
- Sliced green onions for garnish optional
- Sesame seeds for garnish optional
Instructions
- Add the thinly sliced steak, Mr. Yoshida’s sauce, and minced garlic to a bowl, or resealable bag I used my @bbq_dripezprep tub
- Mix everything together until the beef is evenly coated.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes and not much more because of how thin the meat is
- Heat your grill or griddle over high heat.
- Cook the beef in batches so you don’t overcrowd the cooking surface. Grill for about 1–2 minutes per side, or until caramelized and cooked through.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, then serve with rice and mac salad.
